The story behind the poster

This poster is for the Mime Troupe Appeal II. Bill Graham was the business manager of the Mime Troupe and this concert was organized as a benefit to raise funds for legal fees after a member of the Troupe was arrested on obscenity charges. This was Graham’s first poster for a show held at the Fillmore Auditorium!
