Andy Warhol and the Velvet Underground made their presence known in LA in early May 1966. “The Plastic Inevitable Show” caused such controversy that the event was ended prematurely. This poster displays a salute to pop art featuring Roy Lichtenstein’s Newsweek cover and the Campbell soup kids.
